Alex Khemis is a young man who was forced to flee his home in South Sudan to Omogo Refugee camp in Uganda in July 2016 when war erupted in South Sudan. He returned to South Sudan a year later.
Khemis is an advocate promoting TVET as a youth empowerment model, the need for improved education infrastructure and the expansion of market based TVET courses in rural areas.
