High-Level Steering Group

The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies Steering Group is the independent governance and oversight body of the EiE Hub. The Steering Group is made up of the initial co-signatories – Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the Global Education Cluster (GEC), the Geneva Graduate Institute, the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Switzerland, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNICEF, and the University of Geneva – along with the Global Partnership for Education. It guides the overall strategic work of the EiE Hub on behalf of the broader membership.

Technical Working Group

The Technical Working Group provides technical expertise, acts as a sounding board and takes on leadership for carrying out specific activities as per the work plan. The Working Group is composed of the initial co-signatories as well as Canada, Save the Children and World Vision International, and is coordinated by the EiE Hub Executive Director.

Members

The pledge was co-signed by Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the Global Education Cluster (GEC), the Geneva Graduate Institute, the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Switzerland, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNICEF, and the University of Geneva. These organizations are referred to as the ‘initial co-signatories’, and founding members of the EiE Hub.
