Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks

HNPW 2022 will be held in a hybrid format from 2 to 20 May 2022.

The first and the last week of the HNPW 2022 will be organized remotely, the second week (9 to 13 May) will be held face-to-face at the International Conference Centre (CICG) in Geneva.

The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies will be hosting two technical meetings, under the Areas of Common Concern.

10 May, 14:00 – 15:30 : “The current state and importance of Education in Emergencies in anticipatory action and the first emergency response”(CICG – Salle 9 and online)

10 May, 09:00 – 10:30 : “School Meals Programmes as multisectoral platforms for education in fragile contexts.” The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in collaboration with WFP are hosting this session to present the value of school meal programmes as an important form of development and humanitarian intervention in fragile settings. The session will particularly highlight the multi-sectoral nature of school meals programmes

This exhibit is composed of 29 pictures of our member’s work in EiE. It is designed to increase understanding of the importance of education for those who lack access to it, over extended periods of time, due to the climate crisis, disasters, epidemics, conflict or violence.
