Legislative Checklist: Protecting Education in Armed Conflict

The Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack’s Legislative Checklist presents a list of questions and statements with the objective of helping lawyers, investigators, prosecutors, lawmakers, national human rights institutions, civil society organisations and other relevant practitioners map their domestic normative framework so that they may quickly spot and address potential gaps or inconsistencies. Accordingly, this tool may help identify education-related crimes that can be pursued under current domestic law and help advance legal and policy changes where gaps exist.
