The ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment will be held in Geneva from Wednesday, 18 June, to Friday, 20 June 2025. The theme for this year’s HAS is “Renewing global solidarity for humanity: saving lives, reducing suffering and mobilizing solutions for humanitarian action”.
The Humanitarian Affairs Segment is a unique platform that brings together UN Member States, UN organizations, humanitarian and development partners, the private sector and affected communities. They discuss and agree on how to best tackle the most recent and pressing humanitarian concerns. For more information, click here.

- Education in Emergencies in Times of the Humanitarian Reset: Toward Inclusive and Gender-Transformative Approaches: This side event will take place on 16 June 2025, 16:30-18:00 CET, at the Palais des Nations, Geneva (Conference Room XXI) and online, and is co-sponsored by Education Cannot Wait, the Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies, the Global Education Cluster, Switzerland, UNICEF, and Voice Amplified.
