The 2025 Social Forum will focus on the contribution of education to the respect, promotion, protection and fulfilment of all human rights for everyone.
The Social Forum of the Human Rights Council will take place on 30 and 31 October in Geneva, and is an annual meeting that provides a unique space for open and interactive dialogue between civil society, representatives of Member States and intergovernmental organisations. This year’s theme is the right to education, in line with resolution 56/12 of the Human Rights Council. It aims to explore how education is both a fundamental pillar and a catalytic driver to advance all the human rights for all, across different times and spaces, and throughout the whole life cycle.
Please note that registrations are open until 31st October.
