The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergency’s 2026-2030 Strategy sets an ambitious course for the alliance at a challenging time for the humanitarian sector. The strategy – co-created through an extensive consultation process with the EiE Hub’s membership and other stakeholders – looks back on key achievements since the EiE Hub’s inception, and outlines the shared direction and priorities guiding its collective action for the next five years.
Some of the highlights include:
- A foreword from the two Co-Chairs of the EiE Hub’s Steering Group, Ambassador Dominik Stillhart (Deputy Director General and Head of Humanitarian Aid and SHA Division, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation) and Faiza Hassan (Director of the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies).
- A reflection on the EiE Hub’s first strategic phase (2022–2025), highlighting how the alliance strengthened collective action, elevated EiE globally and built a strong foundation.
- The vision, mission and key objectives for the next strategic phase, centred on:
- Uniting and strengthening key actors for EiE;
- Mobilising political and financial commitment for EiE policy change and action; and
- Elevating evidence to drive change for EiE.
- A snapshot of the EiE Hub’s unique membership drawing from government, international organisations, philanthropy and civil society, and how these entities complement each other.
